Education, clarification and lessons

The WPE Project for the preservation of the rain forest. The project´s components of education and clarification is complemented with actions and cooperations.

Education about Nature Protection and preservation promotes the environmental awareness and gives the children the chance for a better understanding of nature.

In addition, educational courses will dwell in matters of nature conservation and sustainable developememt of natural resoures and the rain forest and the subject of Bushmeat.

We call that actions "The Great Ape Campaign".

Futhermore, fun factor will take place in form of the Great Ape Campaign. These actions are connected with the search of forest seeds and the bringing in of tree seeds as well as the care of the young trees. The children will bear their responsibility and grow together with their trees and nature. Thus learning how to protect and care for nature.

In addition to the lessons about the sustainable developement of natural resoures and rain forest, are lessons about the ilegal killing of animals for food commonly known as bushmeat. Actions such as Theater arts, drawings and visits of rain forest and nationalparks take place as "The Great Ape Campaign".

In the WPE Forum only for children, friendships are growing and the theme nature and how to live with it in a sustainable way are in childrens mind who are the responsible adults of tomorrow.

The children bring the themes of the WPE Lessons further to their parents and adults and so a sustainable way of understanding is growing.

The rain forest in South America and Central Africa are mainly responsible for a healthy global climate. There is rapid destruction of the rain forest just in order to make profit.There is need to stop such a practice. That should have absolute priority.

Beside the WPE educational projects we sensitise the public at large and publicise about the destruction of the rain forest as well as the problem of poaching and bushmeat. To solve these problems we are working together with the people and especially the children of the affected regions.
